Today media analytics services are fragmented. There are too many data silos, lack of correlation and contexts across data manifolds and lack of any generalized data model. Such fragmentation leads to lack of insights, suboptimal results, actionable intelligence and information management overhead. There is also lack of common platform that scale as well as provide the ability to build any analytics service be it recommendation service or subscriber engagement analysis.
There are three core building blocks: Highly scalable data pipeline leveraging open source technologies such Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka; Sophisticated learning and analysis algorithms focused into the media vertical and generalized data model for building analytics application. Our data pipeline is open allowing direct access to all data at each processing stage. Platform is flexible in allowing 3rd party to build apps to meet specific business requirement beyond directly consuming the out-of-the-box platform analytics services.
